Cville Classic Cars (CCC) is pleased to announce for sale this 1959 Chevrolet Apache 3100 pickup truck. The current owner purchased the truck from the Sundance Holdings Group LLC (SHG) in 2007. While owned by SHG (Robert Redford’s company), the truck was used in numerous advertisements including Redford’s Sundance Catalog; we have a copy of the 2007 catalog with a full page ad of the truck and autographed by Redford. Regardless of its prominence, this is a very nice truck that has been well maintained. Over the course of the last 20 years the truck has gone through various stages of restoration. The body was restored and painted Electric Currant Red in 2002 and still looks great today. The interior was refinished and received a new steering wheel and headliner. The bed was refinished with Vermont maple and the side panels were done in maple. The truck has been in storage the last several years until CCC was recently hired to bring the truck back to life. Work included replacing the fuel tank, pump and carburetor, replaced the distributor, cleaned and painted the engine, replaced front wheel kingpins, rebuilt the brake system, and tuned the engine.
